Top 3 walks from the campsite

Would you like to go hiking without taking the car?

Don’t worry, we’ve got some great hikes to do from the campsite!

For all 3 hikes, the start is the same. From the campsite, turn left. You then walk 500m along the road, past the Parmentelat company, until you reach a large bend in the road. There you’ll see a large house with a sign reading “Simone’s syrups”. Just beside this house you’ll find a small path leading into the forest. Just follow the “red circle” signs, and in 30 minutes you’ll reach the end of the lake at the Lido restaurant.

ATTENTION: please take into account the 1-hour return trip to the lake when planning your hikes.

Merelle tower and waterfall

Once you reach the end of the lake, you have two options. Turn right and climb up to the waterfall, or continue along the lake to start the hike from the Ramberchamp stadium. You’re off for a 4km hike lasting around 2 hours, rated intermediate.

Le Saut de la Bourrique

Once you’ve arrived at the Lido, continue along the lake to the soccer stadium in Ramberchamp. Follow the botanical path alongside the stadium, and you’re off for a 3-hour, 8km hike.

Around Lake Gérardmer

Finally, why not simply walk around the lake to warm up before your vacation? This walk takes about 1h30 and 5.5km. It’s an easy walk, accessible to all. Please note, however, that one section is not suitable for baby carriages at the black rocks.
